Heartwarming Animal Stories: Polar Bear and Rhino...Babies!!! :D

I could be writing about humans right now. There are plenty of things I can discuss about humans that need exposure and discussion. However, sometimes humanity has a tendency to annoy me, and frankly, is isn't worth writing about sometimes because of the sheer stupidity it evokes.

I was thinking about writing about stories I've heard lately, especially in regards to the events of child-raising, but I decided to post about something happy to represent my blog for the time being. I've been meaning to show you these anyway, so now is a perfect time.

Here are articles, footage, and pictures of baby polar bears and a newborn rhino! Click on the links below the photos to see the story!

So cute!!! 100 Day Old Polar Bear Cubs!

A baby rhino being born!!! Aww!!
I said this before and I'll say it again. Animal stories that involve only animals are so refreshing from what we normally hear about. They are so natural with each other.

Aren't they precious??? I'm so happy for them! :D I love stories like these and the fact that they are so cheerful compared to the otherwise miserable news we often encounter.

Heartwarming Animal Stories: Pup Helps Family Cope with Loss of Soldier

Oh my God! This story is beautiful!

I was watching 20/20 last Friday night, and this story and its continuation showed up. The story is that a soldier in his twenties stationed in Iraq, Justin, was killed in an explosion. However, he had sent his girlfriend back home photos of him holding a puppy from the night before. The puppies lived in a latrine close to where the soldiers were. After Justin's family discovered these photos and saw how cheerful he looked in them, they were determined to get the puppy. They succeeded, appropriately named her Hero, and she now lives with them in New Hampshire to this very day!

The story in its entirety is very depressing, but this puppy puts a positive swing on things. She is how Justin's loved ones are coping with his loss. Hero brings the canine term "man's best friend" to a whole new level.

The 20/20 segment concluded with this image of the dog. The family believes that this is some connection with Justin's spirit. Some people believe that it is merely a coincidence, such as something having to do with the camera's lens, with no spiritual connection, and that it isn't something to take seriously in regards to anything beyond this world.

I say, even it is coincidental, what is wrong with it having spiritual connection for people? The light shining on Hero in this photo has so much significance for the family. :)

Heartwarming Animal Stories: A Chimp Feeds Baby Tigers Bottles of Milk at a Zoo in Thailand

You know, I was thinking about posting a piece today for my "The Intelligent News on AOL.com" series about how Ashton Kutcher is getting cozy in his new surroundings on the set of "Two and a Half Men"...

But who cares about them? What we really want to read about is how a chimpanzee feeds baby tigers bottles of milk! According to this article, at a zoo in Thailand a chimpanzee named Do Do grew fond of the baby tigers so the trainers decided to teach him how to give them their milk bottles!

That's the story! Now, isn't that refreshing compared to the other forms of news we constantly hear about? The only downside to this story is that the tigers grow up, so they have to be moved to another facility and can no longer be fed by Do Do.
Who cares?! This is so cute that you don't even notice that one bad side! And the bad side isn't even bad! It's just apart of life. The tigers have to grow up sometime and Do Do must let them "leave the nest." If you watch the video, you can actually feel yourself at peace. It's so happy, which is such a rarity nowadays. Even the people in the video and the guy narrating it look and sound cheerful. It's such a simple, positive story, making it so enjoyable for everyone. It certainly has the "Aww!" Factor.

Isn't it kind of ironic how the ONE story in the news that DOESN'T have a negative connotation does NOT involve the human race?

Heh, funny.

Animal stories are always so heartwarming. They just make life better. :)
